But you wouldn’t be considered some kind of “-phobe “ if you thought that steroid muscles are different than real muscles, right?
You can think what you want. They put in the work and earn what they get.
There's a Strongman named Paul Smith, a Brit, who is natty and is competing at the highest level. He starts behind the 8 ball because every guy he competes with at that level is juicing. He has yet to win a major competition, but he puts up good numbers. He got an invite to World's Strongest Man this year.

No. Steroids aren’t even real it’s a lie that fat people came up with to badmouth people that work hard in the gym

Second question: Do you treat a guy differently if you can tell that he’s been using steroids?
Or put another way, do you think of a guy differently if he has “real muscles” versus “juiced muscles”?
Sounds like you care way too much about other people

There have been studies that show that people gain more strength and muscle mass taking test while not training than those that train naturally
Link us to these studies. I’m genuinely interested

Do you get hard while checking him out?

roids make your shoulders and traps huge compared to the rest of your body. I use to be a juicehead. Probably gonna run a dbol/test e cycle this spring.

Maybe, but some fat dude on the couch who has never been in a gym isn't going to start a cycle and magically become "strong".
Test and other PEDs probably provide more benefits in recovery than in actual training. That's not really a secret.

What about trans women? Can you tell that they’re men who take hormones and/or have altered their body? Or are they really women?

First question: Can you tell if a guy uses or even used steroids to get built?
Unless you watch the speed at which they build muscle it can be hard unless you see some telltale signs like:
pinhead
gyno
acne/hair loss
massive traps
Palumboism
If you believe a guy like Rob Terry is natty (I am bout 80% that he is) then a of things are possible.
Terry is elite on the natty side, compare him to the juicers

Sure, there are tests to check. However, there are some ways to beat at least some of the tests, if you know what you're doing.
Second question: Why do you want to know?

I had a medical textbook that showed bodybuilders with steroids versus bodybuilders without steroids and outlined how you could easily identify them.
Bodybuilders without steroids looked like your old school strongman, big and muscular but not super ripped/shredded etc, some fat, etc.
The ones with steroids looked like you see them today or like Hollywood actors when they go all out for a role. Basically no body fat, super shredded, frick huge etc.
Anyway just apply the same logic. If it doesn't look right it probably isn't. A lot of people who claim to be natty are mother frickin liars.

I think anyone who understands the game is willing to disclose what they are using or doing with others who understand the game.
Guys who body build are also Human, and don't like being misjudged by people who have zero idea what they are talking about and rather not tell them their personal business. Which to me is understandable.

I have a good buddy in his early 60's who was a college football player and has always been in exceptional shape for his age.
He recently started HRT and then started on straight-up steroids for whatever reason. He is fricking ripped and it is obvious what he is doing. We gave him a hard time worrying about his health, dude drinks and smokes like a chimney as well.
Lo and behold, he blew his knee out last winter skiing. Terrible Triad tear (look it up, its bad) and the orthopedist was talking about permanent disability. He did Rehab and the damn thing completely healed itself to the amazement of all the doctors. 100% the steroids did that. So there is that to think about.
He was at the ski resort last week actually. Crazy frick.

You don't get muscles/strong by only using PEDs. Most of those guys are harder working than pretty much everyone else. You can use everything on the market, but if you don't put in the work it won't matter.
When I was in my 30s, I stopped correcting people that made these types of statements and started encouraging them to take a cycle and stop going to the gym.

99% of the meat heads you see in the gym have or are currently using steroids
