Do allow your dogs, cats, etc. get on the furniture inside (couches)?

Dog is allowed on the ottoman portion of sectional couch. It has a blanket and towel on it. He knows he is allowed there and doesn't try to go anywhere else

The only piece of furniture my little buddy is allowed on is a section of the couch which is his section. He is forbidden from jumping on anything else or going further than his little spot.
