I have a 22 y/o dog I wish would die. Some companies have a bereavement day for pets, btw.

Sorry for your loss. Truly man’s best friend that loves unconditionally. Dogs don’t live long enough. Have a 3 year old and reading these posts gives me lumps in my throat for what will eventually happen for me and my pup. She can’t wait to see me when I get home and I can’t wait to see her. Again, sorry for your loss!!!

Here we go again. Why do we get these sappy threads every few months? Go cry on FB with the women and children. Life is hard and it ain’t because your dog died. Get another one, treat it well, enjoy it and realize it’s not going to live forever. Nobody needs to hear your sob story.

Maybe the next time you come around you want be so much of a cocksucker.

Same here he wouldn't happen to be a chiwahawa would he? The old bastard won't die but he is almost totally blind and his back legs barely work so with the next month I will be taking him in and letting him cross the rainbow bridge. It's time.

OP, we just put our old Frenchie to sleep. 16 years of good memories. I will miss that little dog.

Hope your day is getting better.

It’s also better to do at home if possible if there are other pets in the house. They can have a really hard time grieving as well.

When we had our lab put down at home, our boxer looked up at the ceiling above where she died for ver a week. We got her ashes back before we received the urn, and the boxer stood up and sniffed the box on the dresser.

I am very sorry. I have had to do that over the years with my various pets and it never gets easy.

Congratulations, on your freedom from the prison that is pet ownership.
