10. The military gave me a legit phobia. Ten minutes early is five minutes late.

Vince Lombardi said if you on time you’re ten minutes late. I’m usually about 20 minutes late using that scale. Sometimes 30.

In my younger days, I'd fall somewhere around 6.
Now that I'm deep into middle age, I'm around 11.
I absolutely despise when people waste my time by show up late or not at all for something.
And I'm am now almost always early for things. And if I happen to be late, I apologize to the person for wasting their time.
Time is precious and I'm a lot closer to the finish line of life than the starting line. I take this shite seriously.

If you’re not 15 minutes early you’re late!
Posted on 3/19/23 at 3:34 am to Turf Taint
2-3 most of the time. 6-7 for high priority things.
I give zero fricks though. I understand that your time is important; it's just that mine is important-er.

If you can't be on time, let someone know. Its not hard.

A lack of punctuality shows a lack of discipline and a lack of respect for other people.

Absolutely hate being late for anything and enjoy arriving at least 5 minutes early for an event but don’t tell me that bullshite about being on time means you’re already late when you can inform me to arrive 15 minutes early.
Example: recent fishing charter wanted people to show up 30 minutes early to complete paperwork (previously filled out online when booking the trip but I digress) for the trip. That’s acceptable but when you expect people to show up for an online meeting 10 minutes early to prove your punctuality then frick off.

I'm usually a few minutes early because I want to be ready at the appointed time.
Showing up on time doesn't mean a lot if you aren't prepared and ready to go.

10. If I am not 5 minutes early, you can bet that I am not coming.

Bingo.
Everyone else had the discipline to show on time, some people just think they're special and don't give a shite about others.
