My cousin's sister in law's aunt's niece said she had a friend who's son got autism from a flu shot last year. Said he's been in an iron lung for 3 months.

Roger, I have a toddler and my wife’s family refuses to get the flu shot. What’s the best way to change their mind? Is there a webpage or online video I can direct them to from a reputable source? I’m no expert, and I don’t want to try to convince them myself. I’m just the type that listens to experts like doctors.

Get one every year. Yearly check up is near the end of September, they always offer and I'm there anyway. Laziness has been the main reason I didn't get one in the past anyway.

Growing up in the funeral home business, these shots were not encouraged.

So I suggest no one get them.

I did one once and it made me feel artistic.
Thanks. But no thanks.

It was probably a febrile reaction to the shot and your body went into high gear making antibodies against the different flu varieties.

Tell them they can’t see your kid if they don’t get a flu shot.

Sorry, but Jim Carey knows more about this than some so called "doctor" bought and paid for by big pharma and Republicans.

Haven't gotten shot in years and never got the Flu. Got the flu twice when I got shot. You do know when they give you the shot they are giving you the flu right? and weakening your immune system so you're susceptible to sickness and death. really terrible.

I work with immunocompromised kids. It’d be a real dick move for me to not get the shot knowing that.

It was terrible. I would have to go poo poo and it smelt so bad causing me to throw up. It lasted for 3 days. I can relate to those who have gone through near death experiences. You come out a stronger person.

The CDC site refutes pretty much all the myths, but the reality is it’s such an illogical belief in 2019 that those who hold it are usually intractable to reason.

Sadly, it often takes watching someone they know die from the flu to “get it” as most don’t understand how bad a disease it is. Even if you are you long with no health problems, your chances of dying are around 1 in 100. Some people it’s as high as 1 in 10.
