I've been banking with Chase for 15 years and have had no complaints in that entire time.

They were the first to allow check deposits via an app.

Their billpay has been great. And since I'm a veteran, I get chase unlimited checking for free.

They charge you a fee to cash a check if you don't have an account even if the check is written from a chase account.
Capital One does this too

The fact that they don't treat their non customers the way they do their customers only means they think you suck.

I am a customer. Checking, Savings, and a credit card at Chase.

I went today to deposit a shite load of cash, a bunch of checks, and the change from the jar at my house that was a little over $200.

I had it divided into bags by coin and each bag labeled with an amount.

She asked me if it was for business or for personal. I said personal. She told me they no longer take coins. I asked her why a bank no longer takes coins and she said They wouldn't take it and told me to go roll it myself.

I then thought about it and said, what if it was for business and she said they'd just take it, take my word for the amount, and deposit the funds into my account. She might as well have told me to go frick myself.

So frick chase Bank.

Sounds like you're free to roll it and they'll accept it once you've done so, but you just don't want to do the work. Ironically, they don't want to do the work either, but they're not starting threads that say PSA: Breesus Sucks.

Chase also charges you a fee for using a non-Chase atm (on top of whatever the atm fee is).

Take your coins to a CoinStar machine and select the Amazon or other no-fee option. (Not at Walmart though - no Amazon there.)

I'm going to start an LLC called Coin Fees, deposit all my coins without rolling into that account and then just transfer it to my personal account. I like that solution better.

Sounds like a solid workaround.

Synergy Bank is where it's at. 2% checking, 1% savings, refund all ATM fees each month, and they are on top of their shite. Their loans suck but their banking is top notch.

When I was a poor college kid with no money capital one always treated me right. Chase can take its nonsense and stuff it in a sack and just give it to someone else
