Why are you opposed to Juneteenth being celebrated?
Technically, shouldn't this only be a holiday in Texas? Juneteenth celebrates 19 June 1965, when slaves in Texas were pronounced freed. Hadn't Lincoln already done this?
If you want to Celebrate something, celebrate 1 January 1863. That's when Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, freeing the enslaved people in the states that had succeeded.
Furthermore, why did it take Texas an additional 2.5 years to mark what Lincoln made official on 1 Jan 1863?
All I'm saying here is, if you want to celebrate history, which I think is very fitting and noble, then know exactly what you're celebrating.

It's sounds like you're trying to whitesplain to black people when they were freed.
Racist.

“So bro, was it June 13th?”
“Not sure.”
“Well then, was it June 14th.”
“I’ll have to get back to you.”
So it was June 15th?”
“Could have been. “
“So even June 16th?”
“Dunno. Possibly.”
“How bout June 17th?”
“Bruh, I don’t know. Maybe. “
“So it could have even been June 18th?”
“That sounds pretty good.”
“What about June 19th? Would that work?”
“All hell naw! That’s cuttin it too close. We running outta teenths.”

If you don’t like a movie, don’t watch it.
If you don’t like a book, don’t read it.
There's an argument here, but I don't feel like having it.
It's not about what you read. I've heard how universities indoctrinate young people, maybe movies and books are forced on people.
They watch 30 minutes of CNN at my son's school and have to write a paragraph about what they watch.
Is that okay?

Celebrating Juneteenth will make it all go away, boys!
Happy times ahead!!!

Why are you opposed to Juneteenth being celebrated?
I’ll tell you why I’m opposed to this, as well as black history month. It’s because it is so obviously overdone that it fosters contempt in the productive class. This increases racism. MLK day is different. He is an American hero who advanced the principles on which America was founded.
BTW, MLK is a guy who would be canceled due to his treatment of women if we applied the same stupid standards to him that they do to so many other heroes.

It is just another virtue signal, no one really gives a shite about it...they just hope they make more money because of the move.
Itge only holidays that should be observed are observed religious Holidays.
Columbus, labor. Those are stupid too

So why celebrate the day that the most remote place got word?
Why not celebrate the day Lincoln announced the Emancipation Proclamation?
