100% agree, and it was filmed near me. I hate narrated movies and shows

It's boring and seems to only appeal to people born in a very specific time.

Merry Christmas everyone

It's one of the most amazing things in my life to watch this movie become popular simply because people claim that it's popular only because it got shown on TV a lot. I was a child in the '80s and nobody talked about this movie until I was an adult. People my age and your age created this fake nostalgia like it was a part of their childhood

You are likely one of the shitty late 80’s kids that think Van Hagar was better than Van Halen too

Uh, I remember this movie quite well in the 80s. The "you'll shoot your eye out" line was pretty well known.

Now you want to talk about a movie that's overrated, Christmas Vacation is up there.

Yeah, I’m going to have to disagree with you on this. I remember seeing it in the theater, and we owned a VHS copy well before the 24-hour marathon thing happened.

Oh, so since you were one of the few people who saw it in the theaters, that means it was wildly popular at its release?

$19 million at the box office

I enjoyed this movie when I first seen it at 10 years old and I'm 43 and still enjoy watching it every year.

$19 million in 1983. Plug that into the inflation calculator, bub. Not too shabby for a kids movie.

Also, where did I say that it was wildly popular? Good luck with being retarded. Hope that works out for you.

Watched it last night. Can confirm your opinion on this is bad. It’s a very good movie and pretty funny at parts.

I watched it for the first time a few years ago and couldn’t believe that was the movie everyone loves so much

Wrong. They played it on repeat because it was popular. Even now, if it didn't pull some numbers they would stop.

FTR, the humor is clearly above the level of you dolts. It's hilarious.
