I find it interesting when folks living today try to put past figures "on trial" for the views and actions that they had back in their time. It is a very tricky thing to judge people from the past by the standards of today. Segregation was not only legal back then but widely accepted and practiced. And you can imagine, if the lens were reversed, how folks from that time would view us today. They would likely see us as being degenerate to the point of near barbarism for our acceptance of; same-sex marriage, abortion on demand, inter-racial marriage, pre-marital sex etc. So, I think that we should let the past be the past and just look to making a positive future in whatever way we can as it regards our personal sense of what a positive future is.

EVERYBODY born white in the South his (Wilson's) birth year was a racist. It was inescapable. I heard Shelby Foote say (specifically about folks from Mississippi in the 1920s, but it applies to Wilson's entire life experience as well) that everyone, White and Black was racist.

This isn't a conversation. It's calling people bigots and racists until you get your way. There is no discourse here.

So a quick google search shows that Wilson wanted to allow the re-segregation of public offices (and sometimes did). Probably a bit racist, but it was 100 years ago. The funny part of this story is that the black students are also demanding their own segregated area at the University.
Plessy v Ferguson.

Has Princeton responded? Wilson was a hugely influential foreign policy (Wilsonian foreign policy) POTUS and it would be a total disgrace to see any changes.
If any Ivy will tell these morons to EAD it would be Princeton

Being racist is not Wilson's legacy. Being a traitor and giving control of the country to the international bankers is Wilson's legacy.
You mean how under Wilson American financed most of WWI for European countries and turned Wall St from banking back road to financial capital of the world?
There is a very legit argument that our financing WWI is what led to America's rise as a superpower

From the article:
quote:
Unlike some other college presidents around the U.S., Eisgruber has been willing to publicly reject some of the protesters demands out of hand. The school simply isn’t going to eliminate its tributes to Wilson, he said, barely an hour into the protest.
“I agree with you, Woodrow Wilson was a racist,” he said. “In some people, you have good in great measure and evil in great measure.”
Eisgruber did agree, though, with adding courses on marginalized people to distribution requirements, but he said he lacked the power to implement such a requirement.
According to The Tab, as Eisgruber spoke, there were outcries from the crowd.

Have them arrested for trespass and do not excuse any absences from classes.
Then have the secretary sue each and every one of them for negligent infliction of emotional distress in civil court.

Apparently not. It took most of them 3.5 years to even look at any of the names....the schools were so close to graduating these fricks......(assuming)
