But supposedly Donald Trump will be able to come in and wave his hand like a Jedi and everything will magically get better.
The real problem is people like you think people think this.

Have downvote #13.

No. He seems to ignore everything that led up to the present day.

Are you in agreement that Bidens 'economic plans' are working which stemmed this back and forth?

I don’t think biden has an economic plan.

shite I don’t think biden is even aware what year it is.

I think the Fed’s plan is working about as well as one could hope thus far and American businesses are crushing right now.

People on this board have shouted for years how the US economy goes as oil goes.

Well guess what, US oil and gas is fricking annihilating it right now and has been the past few years. Not surprising that the US economy is also humming.

Just got an email from Ring their per camera price is increasing from $40 per year to $50 per year. In July of ‘22 they raised the price from $30 to $40.

I feel your pain, but things like ring are luxuries. Lots of us, me included complain about rising prices, but our lives are filled with non essential toys and gadgets.

That’s a 67% pricing increase in less than a 2-year period
.

I was just bitching to the wife when I saw the email this morning. Like you said, it only amounts to about another $1/month, but...

This. Just last week my water company sent a letter saying they're raising rates. And the week before that my car insurance jumped 25%. And the week before that... on and on and on. It's unsustainable. I don't know how the average middle class or below family aren't all filing for bankruptcy yet.

I get what you’re saying but depending on where you live, it can be extremely useful. Maybe not a ring per se but a wirelessly connected device for home security. So yea, is it essential to live? No. But is it essential to live well? Yes.

1st world problem but where do you draw the line? Do I need filtered or bottled water? Probably not

My dogs keep me safe. I have expenses with them, but they are far better than paying ring.

The price increases over the last year would normally take about 3 years without the dems. Lodgings, insurance, fast food, building materials, cars and groceries are some that have increased markedly.

Part of the job of being president is to take the blame for inflation
Should they also take the blame for increases in net worth? Because there has been a MAJOR increase in net worth since 2019 - after inflation and across all income deciles.

nah I'd believe 20, but certainly not 50 if you're buying the exact same things.

I'm one of those that believes my eyes and reality. There is 0% chance that a diversified basket of groceries is up 100% over 2 years. ZERO
