Pretty obvious it was a bomb in the Cybertruck at Trump tower - UPDATE: confirmed

Ya...gonna probably go with that... I don't think this falls into thermal runaway.

Thermal runaway is somewhat fast but def not "explosive"

Is the battery under the bed only in the Cybertruck? I ask as the explosion appeared to be only in the box area.

GM EVs have the batteries basically filling the entire area between the wheels, under the floor. The chassis resembles a skate board.

This truck isn't going to just randomly have a fire when it just so happens to be parked at the entrance to Trump tower

Move your cursor frame by frame, and at about the 11 second mark the first inkling of an explosion occurs with a flame escaping the driver's window just before the rear end goes up in flames. Leads me to think the driver may have detonated something.
