Ya he's also ignoring the fact that regardless of the leader after a few months of non sense most people weren't going to respond to what government officials told them. Also it's an admission that the hysterical media coverage sways his opinion on public policy. I know many like him.

So you think if his optics were different less people would have died?
No. I think a lot of his words and actions undermined his credibility with a lot of voters. That is wholly separate from his administration's work to combat the virus.

You want the GOP to avoid the culture war because that suits your party. You’d rather transgender nonsense and woke culture continue undisturbed.

I don't think people understand just how brutal this is going to be. Companies don't just eat that 7%. Lot of jobs are about to vanish overnight.
explain this to me like I'm a moron...
Wasn't this about the same tax rate prior to Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act? Wouldn't companies just go back to their operations/spending prior to that? They seemed to be ok then

IMO the GOP should focus less on fighting the culture war because theres a built in disadvantage in doing so. Focus on jobs, taxes, and a real health care alternative that isn’t seen as just cutting benefits. Americans clearly aren’t sold on social programs as a catch all solution to our nations problems, but there needs to be real alternative solutions proposed or else it looks to a neutral observer that the right is okay with the status quo.
I agree. Unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed. We shall see.
Actions speak louder than words but words are all that some are hearing. Rational thought isn't prevalent anymore.

Trump turned out huge numbers of new voters and ex blue collar dems (of all races, especially hispanics) by being moderate on free markets, conservative on cultural issues, and moderatish on social issues
I think cultural conservativism (relating to immigration, crime, multiculturalism, nation identity, etc) is a winner. Social conservatism (gay marriage, abortion, etc) probably a loser.
Think tank free marketism is not viable anymore.

Actually, I think it is still lower, wasn't it 35% before the cut?

Anyone making under 160k as a family is getting those checks. Which is why this was such a farce. Peer of mine got 5400, wife and two kids.
Disclaimer: I get nothing.

The c-corp rates were graduated based on income prior to the new tax law, which is a flat 21% for all income. 35% was the top rate, 15% was the lowest.

He did easily win re-election... then mail in voter fraud, the Deep State, Pentagon war hawks, big tech/corporate globalists and Dominion squashed it. I know, I know... “conspiracy theory,” “no evidence.” Yeah. Sure.
