When did you quit voting for Democrats?

ust sober political analysis that hurts some feelings because deep down they know it’s true.
I personally know at least 10 family friends who went from being huge W supporters, even the last day of his awful presidency, to being full on dems.
Last week, one of these people flat out admitted they don't care about illegal immigration and the migrant crisis because of the amazing relationship they have had with their housecleaner the last 10 years, who is illegal. Suburban wine moms associate illegals with their house cleaners, their gardeners, etc, and they don't think it is a bad thing that the borders are wide open.

Sure and there’s a way to take the rougher edges off that so you get the benefit without nearly as much backlash.

Joe did no campaigning. I don't see your point here.
The media did it for him. Are you saying Trump wins if he hides in his basement wearing a mask?
You had Kamala Harris saying she wouldn't take a vaccine from Trump, but now they want everyone to take it.
If Trump literally acted like Biden, the media still would have roasted him and spun it.
Travel bans, dictator! Xenophobe! I condemn white supremacy, see he's a fricking white supremacist!
It didn't matter. You were gaslighted Bubba.

Sure he could have, he didn't. I'm pretty sure us internet tough guys wouldn't have changed either. Most people in their 70's aren't going to change the way they do things.
The bigger issue at hand is how to deal with the shite sandwich we are ALL going to have to eat? The back and forth dick measuring contests accomplishes nothing.

I have misgivings about a lot of the modern leftist agenda, but ultimately because of the way our government is set up it’s on the GOP to make the case that their way is better.
And you know what, it’s not fair that the left has built in advantages in spreading its message, but life isn’t fair.

There's no way trump would have read that playbook. The dude didn't even read his morning briefings.
Now do Biden.
He's not even in charge of his own administration.

So you think if his optics were different less people would have died? You know that's essentially a religious belief?

Where does the modern GOP make their case? Parlor?

This. At that point it became essentially legal ballot harvesting. They went door to door and filled out the ballots for people then told them to sign, then took them to the post office for them.
Posted on 3/30/21 at 1:37 pm to Sun God
As soon as the left could collect trash bags of ballots from the inner city and not have to bus people in for free dinners - it was over.

Ultimately, what bothers me the most is that suburban women are voting in policy that doesn't affect them, but negatively impacts areas they will never live in.
Unchecked illegal immigration hurts blue collars, legal hispanics, black laborers, etc.
Gun control disarms people who need a gun the most. Wine moms in austin suburbs have never even heard a gun shot within 10 miles of their cookie cutter house
Wine moms can afford to be all in on blm, "riots are the voice of the unheard" bs, because their own streets will never be set alight by miscreants.

IMO the GOP should focus less on fighting the culture war because theres a built in disadvantage in doing so. Focus on jobs, taxes, and a real health care alternative that isn’t seen as just cutting benefits. Americans clearly aren’t sold on social programs as a catch all solution to our nations problems, but there needs to be real alternative solutions proposed or else it looks to a neutral observer that the right is okay with the status quo.

That’s because you finally had to pair your fair share.
Just kidding, I have no idea who you are.
There is probably some truth to that in that we followed a strategy to tie up money in areas we live in via property so SALT impacts us far more than people that don't own a lot of property.
quote:
SALT deductions made the insane taxes rates of blue states hit home, and tax and spend libs didn’t like it.
All our property taxes are paid in red states. The interesting thing about SALT deductions is they concentrate more revenue in the states and take it away from the Fed, but I understand some people prefer that but I see a lot of people arguing against SALT deductions that ideologically would seem to be at odds.
