These actions bear my typical response from Fletch Lives…

I was at a church in BR years ago , the pastor asked everyone to give a birthday offering to Jesus. There was a large barrel on stage and he had those in attendance walk up and put money in. Row by row till everyone had passed by the barrel. When it came time for our row, the first guy didn't get up so nobody on our row went

I bet your arse, if I ever went to a church and the preacher says "close the door, no one is leaving until I get $40k" I would leave. The ushers wouldn't know what to do because they wouldn't be prepared. What will they do?

He is one of 500,000 embezzling black preachers just like him. It’s a scandal and needs to be discussed

I’m sure Bishop Sapp is paying taxes on all of his earnings. Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s, right?

He was just keeping everyone safe, too.

quote:

“The truth is, when finances are being received in any worship gathering, it is one of the most vulnerable and exposed times for both the finance and security teams,” Marvin Sapp said in his Facebook response. “Movement during this sacred exchange can be distracting and, at times, even risky.” “My directive was not about control,” he said. “It was about creating a safe, focused, and reverent environment for those choosing to give, and for those handling the resources.”

I blame Trump. HIs Tariffs have driven up the price of Mercedes so high its difficult for a "Servant" to keep up.

Reminds me of the time my wife and I attended Our Saviors Church in Lafayette. We, along with a few others, would leave right as the pastor was ending service. We did it to beat the rush and traffic. Apparently, the pastor didn't appreciate that so as we're trying to leave, the head usher blocks the door and says "The pastor didn't release you yet".

We all didn't budge just gave him a look and he quickly caught himself and said "I guess that's ok...." and moved from the door. We never went back.

“Bishop” apparently takes in a lot more territory than it should. What is his Apostolic lineage I wonder?
