Leave the flock and get away from church. Most people go to church as a status symbol and it’s pathetic. I’ve read the Bible more than most and understand the principles but lord if you need church to understand the Bible you are part of the problem. Who in their right mind needs the church of today to live a life worth living.

I’m the pastor of a church in NELA and i never preach past noon. We start at 11am, i get the pulpit about 11:30, and we saying “amen” a little before 12. If you can’t say in 20 minutes what you need to say you’re spinning your wheels.

All these non-denom. churches in my city have 2-3 hour services every Sunday.

Going to church doesn’t mean what it used to mean. It’s a joke nowadays and going there doesn’t qualify you as a good person.

I had a priest once tell me that they are taught, 3 points in 10 min. Anything more and you lose the congregation.
