My girlfriend is at 18 right now. Seeing that little human on the sonogram completely captured my heart. I will be thinking about you and your wife. Best of luck to you all and hope for nothing but good news in the future.

Sorry I am late in reading this, but you absolutely have my prayers. By the sound of your updates things look promising. Will definitely have you and your family in my thoughts. Prayer can be a very powerful thing. Hang in there and believe!

Great news!! Every hour extra is good. So happy for you both.
Ignore votes. It's a stupid thing to have on this site and your thread is yet another example of why. Don't even look at them.
More prayers your way. So appreciate the updates.

A friend of mine was in a wreck and had twins at 26 weeks. They were in real rough looking shape when they came out but the NICUs these days take pretty good care of them and now they're regular kids. It was actually pretty impressive how fast they "caught up" with the other kids. By 2 they were the same size as their peers and just as far along developmentally. They think their vision may have been impacted a little but that's about it. They can see pretty well as far as I can tell but they are going by statistical probability.
Wishing you guys the best of luck.

Wonderful news! Her vitals are such that we do not have to deliver tonight.
That is wonderful news!! Current neonatology have advanced treatments that even extreme premature babies have a very good prognosis. Especially with maternal steroids treatment to mature fetal lungs and surfactant therapy after birth, most of the premature infants rarely require ventilator/oscillator support. But still keep her in the oven as long as possible...

This is heartbreaking to read. Prayers for you, your wife, and baby.

Glad you got more good news
My sister was born twelve weeks early and she's healthy as a horse now. And that was thirty years ago. You've got a lot more advances in medicine on your side

Look, I can appreciate that this is a goofy website and that lots of people on here are rude for the fun of it.
But to whoever is down voting my wife and baby: I hope that you never have to go through anything this awful. I hope you never have to go through the pain of watching your wife on the brink of death in front of your eyes. I hope that you never have to face your child's mortality. I hope that some day you grow up and realize that being funny on the internet isn't all its cracked up to be and real life is more serious than a computer screen. And I hope that your nuts get crushed in a vice. God Bless.
Ignore the cowards. They're the kind of people who would not dare come out from behind their keyboard and face any one of us IRL.

Glad the good news keeps coming yall's way!
Make sure through all of this you are taking time for yourself to get rest and to eat. It's very easy to focus and worry about your wife and the baby. And they certainly need you right now, but you still need to take care of yourself so that you can take care of them. If you don't want to leave the room, have family bring you food.
Please keep us updated. And pay no attention to the losers downvoting this thread.

Hey, downvoter. What you send into the lives of others, comes back into your own.
