Hey man, glad your wife and child are doing better. I know it's tough and you probably feel helpless, but stay strong. Everything will be ok.

Ignore votes. It's a stupid thing to have on this site and your thread is yet another example of why. Don't even look at them.

Chicken should make it so votes are public. I doubt the POS downvoting this thread would be willing to act that way if the whole board knew who he was.

Look, I can appreciate that this is a goofy website and that lots of people on here are rude for the fun of it.

But to whoever is down voting my wife and baby: I hope that you never have to go through anything this awful. I hope you never have to go through the pain of watching your wife on the brink of death in front of your eyes. I hope that you never have to face your child's mortality. I hope that some day you grow up and realize that being funny on the internet isn't all its cracked up to be and real life is more serious than a computer screen. And I hope that your nuts get crushed in a vice. God Bless.

are u seriously wasting a second of your life responding to the downvote trollers? come on man.

You're probably right, but as I'm sure you can understand my nerves are very sensitive right now. It hurts to see a down vote, even if it is a troll.

Blood work came back this morning and the positive news keeps rolling in. Her vitals have remained stable and we are waiting until 6 pm again tonight to do more lab work. That's another full 12 precious hours in the womb.

The extra time also means that the steroid shots she received yesterday for her lungs will have had the full amount of time to work.

The early super optimistic guess is that it may not be preeclampsia, but instead some kind of virus (doc talk for they don't really know). That would be an absolute miracle as 24 hours ago it was a forgone conclusion that'd I'd be looking at my baby girl with 100% certainty.

IF...and that's still a big if right now...that's what the diagnosis ends up being then it is truly miraculous and only possible because of all the kind, selfless prayers people like yall have been sending our way. IF it ends up being a virus then I owe my whole entire world to each of you.

If it is still a worse case scenario and I have my baby girl early then your prayers have still worked and have given my baby girl more desperately needed time in her mommy's belly.

Either way your prayers are being answered and felt here in our room. Thank y'all all so much again

So happy you have more good news. Prayers continue. Exhale for now. Both you and your wife need to rest and stay as calm as possible under the circumstances. Better for you all. Might want to keep visitors down to a minimum unless that's a good distraction.

And, hey, Molly is now a whole day older! Does that make her 27 weeks now? Either way, that's a good thing and the steroids have time to do some work. We went in on a Tuesday and delivered on Thursday morning. The baby breathed on his own at 27 weeks.

We're with ya!

Glad things look to be going in the right direction for your wife and baby girl. I pray you stay strong for them both and have many many years of being completely wrapped around the finger of your little girl. As the father of a little girl myself, I can tell you there's nothing better.

Glad to hear the good news! Hopefully it gets better and better.

What do you think about the OT having a say in Molly's middle name? I mean, the OT is practically going to raise this little girl.

Molly Anne sounds nice.

My heart hurts for you as you watch your wife and child go through this uncertain period. I'll be sending many prayers and positive thoughts your way. It hits a little hard as I'm going through my first pregnancy right now and you never know what can happen.

In my prenatal yoga class last night we discussed all the uncertainties that accompany pregnancy and our instructor gave us some good advice. Anytime a negative thought enters your brain, counteract it with a positive one.

I hope everything turns out well and your baby can have as much time as possible in the womb.
