Wonderful news! Her vitals are such that we do not have to deliver tonight.

The doctors will reassess in the morning at 6 am.

Like I said before, I'm sorry I can't respond to all of you individually, but all of your kind words and encouraging stories have helped so much. Your prayers have absolutely been answered.

Great news. Hoping and praying for all of you. Having kids is tough, having one in trouble is tough for a dad.

Be strong...

One day at a time. Keep her diet healthy and stress down. Any extra days or weeks help a bunch.

I was just getting ready to post that.

What in the slippery hell?! How does a person downvote any of this?

You and your family will be in my prayers. My wife is 29 weeks and at 20 weeks the doctors didn't know if the baby's kidneys were working at all. The next ultrasound was at 24 weeks and we didn't know if she would even make it that long. Needless to say that was the longest month of my life and I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Thankfully she will be fine, and I pray that yours, will too.

Look, I can appreciate that this is a goofy website and that lots of people on here are rude for the fun of it.

But to whoever is down voting my wife and baby: I hope that you never have to go through anything this awful. I hope you never have to go through the pain of watching your wife on the brink of death in front of your eyes. I hope that you never have to face your child's mortality. I hope that some day you grow up and realize that being funny on the internet isn't all its cracked up to be and real life is more serious than a computer screen. And I hope that your nuts get crushed in a vice. God Bless.

Praying for your family. Some people have yet to grow up and realize when it's ok to mess around and when it isn't. Try to ignore them and just know that the VAST majority of us are in your corner.

God Bless.

I delivered my first child at 36 1/2 weeks, but I started having regular contractions at 20 weeks. Around 27 weeks, they were getting more regular, and I was freaking out. I will never forget my OB's words. He told me that even if I delivered at that moment, odds were "extremely good that you will take home a healthy baby." That statement really helped me relax. Best of luck to you guys. I'll be praying for you.
