I walked in your shoes almost twelve years ago. I can tell you I still miss my son and regularly wonder what life would be like if we still had him. It’s hard and it really sucks, however it slowly gets better with time. It will be much harder on your wife than on you (not saying it won’t be hard for you at all). Our experience brought us closer to the lord and that and a huge support group with First Baptist Covington (we weren’t even Baptist at the time) and Bouge Falaya church in Folsom. I would be happy to talk to you anytime if there is anything I can help with or just be there to listen. My wife and I will be praying for you all and your wife’s recovery.

Very sad. Prayers for the Good Lord's Spirit to be upon Parents and Family.
You might want to watch the Youtube testimony of a man named James Woodford ("Heaven, An Unexpected Journey"). Two Christian Guys interview Woodford on his (death) experience. The Testimony tangentially deals with children who leave this World at a young age. It has helped many Parents struggling with the loss of their innocent beloved.
