Generac is the greatest investment any homeowner can make

Even if you only need it once or twice a year. It’s worth every penny for the peace of mind alone. The stress that comes with power outages especially in the summer is second to none

Whole home generator, baw. It's a staple north of i-40 now. I'm looking at the home markets right now around Lincoln NE and see a bunch with em.

I am still in the warm air sector in SE Louisiana. It is a nice balmy 70 degrees and my AC kicked on for the humidity.

Well, that's changed since you posted that reply. It's not quite 9:20 and I'm in Mid-City with winds blowing out of the north hard enough to topple over chairs on my front porch and it just got done pouring rain.

It's a good bit cooler with the temp sitting at 44 F right now.

17 degrees here in Charlotte. Snow and ice mix overnight with the worse of sleet/frozen rain coming throughout today.

Built my 1st house in River Bend in 2006 next to Mt. Island lake. Probably wouldn’t recognize that place anymore. I remember them having plans to build a bunch of stuff by the Walmart.

Why don't you own a generator? Even a small inverter generator would keep the critical things going.

Agree, and I fought it thinking it was a waste of money How dumb I was.

Not that BR has much risk this time in the first place, but it’s awesome to entirely avoid the shite show of grocery stores during weather events because I can just work through my freezer with my working electricity to heat.

Our 2 1/2 yo Golden Retriever is quite mesmerized by it...

Looks like I'll have to cover my amaryllis blooms tonight.

It was 60 early this morning and down to 35 now. The weather app promises more cold stuff.

No sneaux, just rain.

Not ours. Hit within three hours of their prediction. With a storm like this, that’s pretty much on the money.
