Hurricane Nicole.

That is terrifying for me for reasons not at all relating to the weather. In fact, I think I just had a flashback.

No, a history of hostility and a fondness for sharp objects.

“Hurricane-force winds extend outward 10 miles (20 km) from the
center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 485
miles “

That is very strange. Is that an error?

Those are Tropical Storm force winds, not hurricane. He didn't read the legend.

Turns out there was a glitch with the earlier graphic. Here is the correct one:

I think he did, but before the image updated, it had a huge circle of hurricane force winds. I think there was a glitch with the graphic.

This is what the **glitched** graphic looked like:

The weather in Northeast this weekend looks fine according to weather channel app. Where would this low pressure system be located come Saturday and Sunday? Is it going to veer off into the Atlantic or head north to New England?

Disney has said all employees must report to work tomorrow. They have changed the start times, putting my wife on I-4 between Hwy. 27 and Champions gate as the eye crosses there.

I talked to a neighbor here in East TN, and she said this warm weather brought back memories of when her younger child was born mid November in the mid 80s. The weather was this lovely when she went to the hospital. Child was born. Husband left to drive home in six plus inches of snow.

Looking at the elevations that have very cold weather in their forecast for this week and next and I wouldn't go camping in any river bottom flood plains right now.
