Use a pool noodle to keep boots standing
Fill water balloons and freeze for coolers at parties. Less drippy than melted ice.

Have u tried this one? I have a hard time believing it works but I am hopeful.
It doesn't work nearly as good as that picture shows, but it will slightly clear them up. FWIW the 3m light cleaner kit worked barely any better.

my latest lifehack was putting all my vegetables on the middle shelves of the fridge so i don't forget about them. and putting my onions and potatoes in the fruit bowl on the counter so i don't forget about them either. they never go bad now.

They sell actual ones made for eggs for a $1. It does save time

Wet sand with 1000 grit sandpaper first, then 1500 grit. The abrasive in toothpaste will work, but it's faster if you use a medium rubbing compound with a rag.
Before the headlight polishing craze exploded, this is what we did. We just used a buffer instead of polishing by hand.
Also, toothpaste will polish chrome and brass very well. It will also take water spots off your car windows. I haven't bought metal polish in years...

I've known about the wooden spoon since I was a kid. My parents did it when the sketties would bubble up.
If you put a wet paper towel over your food when you heat it in the microwave, it keeps your food from drying out
Any phone in a cup makes it project more
Eta: Car wax with a buffer works just as good as the headlight cleaner. It also works "okay" as a windshield rain repellent

- any type of drywall anchors not in studs
Good call. Had a huge vanity mirror in an apartment bathroom in Oxford that was installed using molly bolts; apparently they were not installed correctly and the anchors weren't expanding to hold them in the wall. It fell on me when I got out of the shower one day and effed my world up. I now check all glass fastened to the wall everywhere I go

Anybody have a link for this? Pic isn't showing up
Also, the xerox trick will give you a mirror image of the pattern you need so if it's not symmetric you have to make a copy of your first copy to get the correct hole pattern.

i learned my lesson hanging one of those rubbermaid looking cabinets they sell at home depot in my garage using the 'included hardware.
i put a few auto cleaning containers in it and 6 months later i came out into the garage to find it laying in the floor with shite spilled everywhere including the stupid wall anchors still attached to the cabinet
i mounted that fricker to a stud after that.
