You should crop this one down to this:

It could be a commentary on modern day society's obsession with tech/social media.

Of course, the guy may have just been checking to see how a pic he snapped turned out. Hopefully that's it, but the cynic in me bets that he's checking Instagram and doesn't even know a jet is anywhere around.

Stout, you picked a clinger bird. They are hilarious, but can be a real PITA for attention. They are also very good at figuring out how to disassemble cages and things.

Yea we have two Cockatoos. The umbrella I posted and a Moluccan cockatoo. My wife is a weird parrot fanatic so we also have an African Grey, a ringneck, and a few conures but the Umbrella Cockatoo I posted is my best bud. He rides in my truck with me to check on jobs and stuff.

Here is a picture of the Moluccan cockatoo from a few days ago. He will be 50 years old in August. We rescued him 2 years ago from almost being given to a petting zoo. His name is Tiki

I have a theory regarding women who like keeping birds. Would you like to participate in my survey to further my theory? If so, please answer the following question:

-How crazy would you say your wife is on a scale of 1-10, with one being the least crazy, and ten being the most.

-Don't think necessarily on as how you know her and her temperament on a day-to-day basis, but instead focus on the degree of crazy you believe she is capable of.

Thanks for your time and consideration of my survey.

Excuse me. But I am female and have had birds for most of my life. I am absolutely not crazy. Birds each have their own personalities. They can be affectionate, noisy and terribly messy, funny as all getout, extremely smart, and highly entertaining.

I have two now. One is a 32 year old yellow crowned amazon and a 30 year old hawkhead parrot.

The hawkhead is a spoiled brat, but he can mimic two different phone rings and answers them, the microwave, the oven timer, the microwave buttons, a spray bottle, faucet running, and the damn smoke detectors chirping. He also talks some, but his sound imitations are indistinguishable from the real thing. He wants to be held a lot and cries like a puppy. He wants his lunch on time every day. If not, you're going to hear about it.

The amazon is a funny girl. She talks and beats her toys up, hanging upside down and acting goofy. She sounds exactly like my daughter and comes up with some funny things to say. She still remembers my other bird that died in 2004.

They love a bath. They want to eat your food. Great pets, but if you hate noise and cleaning up messes, you don't want birds.

Hesperomyces harmoniae, or similar. Also known as green beetle hangers. It is a parasitic fungus that attacks lady beetles, especially the Asian variety, and is pretty much an STD. It doesn't always kill the beetle, but it often does. A good check to have to the Asian lady beetles that invade homes during the Winter. Detailed studies into this fungus are very new, within the past few years.

Here are a few I've seen with it lately:

Noted, with the caveat that I heard the same thing from two women with birds who were most certainly crazy.

Interesting.

That grab was when pollen was crazy.

I thought it was tiny pollen bits.
