But I’ll say that I had no idea that someone could go to college to be a commercial airline pilot.
One of my hs buddies went to Auburn for this. South West is now partnered with them so you essentially have a path to go from hs to being a sw pilot.

I don't technically use my degree (Mechanical Engineering) but it opened the doors for me. Wouldn't be here without it. But an accounting/finance degree would be nice at the level I am now.

My first degree was general studies. I was able to teach with it.
I later went back and did Chemistry and it was worth every penny.

I was thinking about Law after getting my Environmental Science B.S. Wound up getting an M.S. and MBA instead...Would have made much more $ with law degree.

I have a degree in business administration. Looking back I realize college was a waste of my time. I would be in the same position maybe better off had I gone straight to work.

I got a Computer Drafting degree, and aside from using it about 9 months after graduation, I never needed it again afterwards

Probably should have taken the military route first then law school or medical school (ortho).
So many other careers paths I would have preferred to pursue, but I’m ok with where I am.

I don't regret my degree. But I should have took that full scholarship I had offered to that school in the middle of nowhere West Virginia.
Student loans suck.

Went to SC for a dead trade. Worked my arse off for a useless bachelor's degree.
Worked for a few years, and got a grad degree in my current field. It's been very lucrative, and it's certainly paid for itself.
Had I to do it over again, I'd have gotten into mechanical engineering. I love working with my hands more than I thought I would when I was 18 and stupid.

I've been a respiratory therapist for close to 15 years and I am burnout due to staffing shortages. Schools aren't putting out enough graduates. I've been working minimum of 7 days a week, 12 hour shifts for last 2 1/2 years. I started taking online classes in January for my Masters in Health Administration.

Majored in Construction Management but always wanted to be a dentist. Didn't want to go to as much school to be a dentist, but I realize now I should have just went for it.

I'm a geoscientist who manages and builds software, so yeah, I'm not exactly using my background. Though I do work in O&G and wouldn't be here without my geoscience background in O&G, so it's a catch-22.
