They doubled the downforce. I wouldn't call that easy.

Some variant of the 911 is on the shortlist to replace the GTR.
I got my first 911 in December, and I'm surprised how nice of a daily driver it is. It does well in the snow (with Winter tires) and there's even plenty of room in the frunk for groceries.
So far, the only real challenge has been picking up pizzas. Those have to go in the footwell of the passenger seat.

A $60k model 3 tesla performance will do that 0-60 in one tenth of a second lower.
Are you really trying to drive 225mph?

Not terribly difficult with large enough wings and scoops... The challenge is making it functional for everyday use and not look cartoonish.

And it's still a fricking Tesla and they are one ugly vehicle.

Tbh for the money it will take to get one of these after ADM (and I mean ALL of the ADM) I think I would just opt for the GT3 Cup
At this point I'm not entirely sure the point of the RS. A regular GT3 or GTS is going to be much better for the street and a GT3 Cup is going to be much better for the track.

At least your gay arse admits the performance

Agreed. They remind me of a bullfrog.

Which makes it worse when the chick driving Model 3 sipping a mocha-frappa-bullshite is hanging right there with you.

Like it. Plan on picking up a pre owned one in a few years to save a little.
That will be easier said than done. I wouldn't expect the price to drop any either.

No one is drag racing a gt3rs so this discussion is kind of dumb anyway.

Beautiful car.
I thought they would have been making these hybrid by now to capture the best of both the ICE and electric.

I don't know many people who buy 911s because they want to beat other cars in drag races at stoplights. You can get better 0-60, straight line performance in a lot of cheaper cars. But I think most people buying these cars plan on tracking them and that's where a GT3 RS is going to shine, as compared to a $60k Model 3.

Drag racing is not the intent of this car, nor can EVs come into stratosphere of the sensations ICE vehicles can deliver compared to EVs.

If they waive the destination charge, I’ll buy. If not, I’m out.

Here is a fun video: Plaid vs. Porsche 911 GT3 on the track.
Spoiler alert: the Porsche beats the Plaid by 34 seconds on the track.
