$100k… dealers are getting that on the new LX.

I don’t blame them though. The amount of no mileage flips for the last RSs was crazy. These markups will be close to a true market value and include a spot in line for the eventual 2RS.

does well in the snow (with Winter tires) and there's even plenty of room in the frunk

I want an 996 4S for this reason. I love the idea of the 996Roadtrip car except swap the tent for a roof ski box. No room for a dog kennel iprevents that idea from becoming reality.

I may be an idiot though. The two cars I want, a 911 and a G, are all over town but I never see them on the interstate in the mountains, especially during winter.

I don’t see how anyone wants a G over a bespoke, rebuilt Defender. The folks who bust apart the 90’s Defenders do it so well.

Why not just get the 911 Safari that's coming out?

Man could you imagine the outrage from 911 owners if they threw in EV components?

My prediction is that the 911 will be the last "mass produced" car with an ice only engine.

Porsche has all but said everything they make outside of the 911 will be EV within the next 10 or so years.

Panamera will probably get cancelled
next-gen Macan and cayenne will be EV
Next-gen boxster and cayman will be at least hybrid if not full ev.

Yeah, naw. You are missing how Porsche sandbags all their cars acceleration times. The 992 GT3 tests at 2.8 0-60 and with the lower gear ratio, slightly more horsepower but also slightly more weight than the GT3 the GT3RS will turn 60 times in the 2.7 second range pretty much guaranteed, and unlike a lot of other cars they can do this pretty much all day long. While 911 are not built to be stop light monsters the still are.

I have had my 991.2 RS WP for 2 years and have never launched it. I just don’t care that much about 0-60.

I’m glad they went all in on the 992 and made it so different. I think it will help my 991 value in the long run.

Miami with aurum. Small door decals. It’s also the only WP I’ve ever seen with black stitching. The WP on the headrest is barely visible. Miami belts. PCCB and and the usual options. I bought August of 2020 with 1600 mi. Now has 7800. I’ve “lightly” tracked it at Nola and Amp. I am a member of the smokies GT group and have done several of the mountain events. I have a Futura trailer and tow it up there a couple times a year. Most of the miles are Cheohala, BRP, 129 and moonshiner miles lol.

Have a 911 GTS cabriolet on order. October delivery. Can’t wait. Wanted a Turbo S but couldn’t wait any longer. I’ve watched every You Tube video on the GTS. Looks to be an awesome car.

I miss seeing exotic cars every day. Nearly the whole time I lived in Dallas, I lived east of Central Expressway, and worked on Mockingbird at Stemmons (i-35). I took hundreds of different routes during the 28 years I lived there. When I was young, I always drove thru the Park Cities, because I enjoyed seeing the wealthy folks' homes and vehicles.

At one time Overseas Motors, the Rolls, Bentley, Jag, etc. dealership had a used car lot next to Sewell Cadillac on Lemmon Ave, across from the private jet entrance to Love Field. Sewell has their Infiniti dealership there now, and what used to be their main Caddy lot is the pre-owned lot now. I used to love coming thru there on University, and stopping at the light between the 80's Sevilles on the right, and the used Rolls, Bentleys, Jags, Lambos, Ferrari's, etc. on the left.

In Ruston I do see a couple of Porsche Cayennes, I see plenty of Mercedes and BMWs, but never see Ferrari's or Lamborghini's. I miss the DPS IROC Camaros too.

Anyone remember when Addison had nothing but Volvo police cars?

You want to go fast you have to conform to the laws of aerodynamics , not what might look cool.

Gorgeous color on that car. I never was too keen on Porsche blues but it looked perfect with the WP. IMO the best of the non-PTS versions.
