No he did not, Trump used the money "funneled" through his bogus shell company Essential Consultants LLC set up by Michael Cohen for the Stormy payoff and the McDougal payoff. The money in the company's accounts came from:
$500,000 from Columbus Nova, an investment firm with ties to Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg
$99,980 from Novartis Investments S.A.R.L., a subsidiary of pharmaceutical giant Novartis
$150,000 from Korea Aerospace Industries, which is currently competing for a multibillion-dollar Air Force contract
$200,000 from AT&T, which at the time was in the middle of a court battle with the Justice Department over its proposed merger with Time Warner
