I tried Shake Shack for the first time last week. Was pretty satisfied with their burger. You telling me that the chicken sandwich is better than CFA or Popeyes?

A few months from now, nobody will care about Popeyes chicken sandwich and CFA will remain King.

Seeing as the restaurants are already running out of the sandwich, I don't think it'll take that long. Popeye's simply isn't equipped with the personnel to handle something going viral and then suddenly becoming in demand.

I saw an article on NBCnews.com declaring Popeye's as the greatest chicken sandwich. It seethed with such SJW vitriol towards CFA that there's no doubt who the media is rooting for here. Regardless I haven't been to Popeyes in at least 2 years, when I went to pickup 2 boxes of chicken for a Sunday family dinner and it took literally an hour to get it.

CFA is just tasty, customer service perfection. There is NO substitute.

My pleasure.

Seems like health nuts always die young. They don’t even get to enjoy their short life. Have a fricking chick fil a or Popeyes sandwich every once in a while. Exercise afterwards. It’s not going to kill you. Literally.

I mean, it’s not that hard.

Chicken is pretty cheap at the grocery store compared to the per oz price at Popeyes. A jar of pickles costs a few dollars. Ditto on mayo. 8 buns is $1.29 at Super 1.

Could make the sandwiches for about $3.50 at home.

I was curious, so had one, yesterday. It's really good for what you get. Definitely, try it with mashed potatoes. Popeye's going after CFA, hard, pirating everything from their menu. Chicken sandwich in same wrapper, frozen lemonade, and even macaroni and cheese. What they don't have is the employees. Messed up my order, said "$hit" when I mentioned it, and a 6 minute wait for the chicken to cook. Have to say, it is the first time I have gone to Popeyes, in many years, that there was a line at the drive through, so it is working for them.

Just had one of these to check out the hype.

Popeyes chicken sandwich is strong. Much better than CFA. I had CFA a couple weeks ago and the main flavor is salty.

Popeyes actually has spicy flavor and flavor of juicy fresh chicken.

Popeyes is achieving GOAT status. Beating KFC and Church's with regular fried chicken, beating Cane's and Zaxby's with their chicken tenders, and now beating down CFA with a world class chicken sandwich.

My only knock is their chicken fingers are ridiculously tiny but much better flavor and quality than Canes.

Al Copeland must be smiling in is grave at the chicken game domination.

Popeyes has and always will smash chick fil a. Yea I know chick fil a has top notch service, so does Canes, but they don’t taste as good.

Does anyone find it humorous that Burger King has sold chicken sandwiches for decades and yet Popeyes Chicken has never managed to put a piece of chicken on a bun?
