shortages in DFW. This shite has gotten real and I fear unrest among the population.

After calling 36 Popeyes fast-food restaurants in North Texas, we could find just four that confirmed they still have inventory of this wildly popular sandwich.

Lines at Popeye's getting longer.

This is kind of a head scratcher if you say it has great flavor.

I've only had the spicy sandwich, but the Popeyes spicy sandwich was subpar compared to CFA. I was really hoping it would be seasoned like the spicy chicken, but it seemed like they just put a spicy sauce on the bun

They're both trash. MSG is the second ingredient in each. All you're doing is consuming an excitotoxin that convinces your brain that what you're tasting is good.

You can make something far better at home with a superior cut of meat for less money.

The wife was on her way in from MSY last night so I had her divert to Popeye's in Walker so we could test these out (she had no idea it had become a "thing" until she got there to see the cars lined up out of the lot and people waiting inside ).

The sandwiches themselves are every bit as flavorful as the Chick-fil-A sandwiches but you get a noticeably larger piece of chicken, the pickles are bigger (I hate pickles ) and the crust is crispier. The price isn't bad either: $3.99.

The big surprise for me though was the fries. I've never had their fries and now I may never have any others! frickers were amazing (they must fry them in the same grease as the chicken). As a bonus, the wife ordered us each a large fry and they gave us what I can only assume was "family size" because they were each a full box! Like... the box they use for a 3-piece deal! WTF??

TL;DR - Not worth hype but it was a pleasant surprise.

Yes way more. Look at the ingredients list on each website. I've never understood how people eat ChickFilA. It's not the same sandwich we had in the 80s. It's morphed in to an entirely different beast over the last 25 years. Anti-foaming agents, excitotoxins, food dyes aka garbage.

That’s just a regular large fry fat arse. A family of four only needs one

That doesn't seem right

Well surely you know how an ingredients list works? From start to finish it's the most to least of what's in the product.

As you can see MSG shows up twice far before bread. Have you ever seen MSG powder dissolve in food? You can use a huge scoop and it just absorbs right in and disappears. That's basically what these sandwiches are. A piece of chicken bathed in excitotoxins.

Nothing personal to anyone that makes the choice to eat this trash, but IMO you have to be a really lazy person to put that shite in your body.

Well of course it tastes great. That's exactly what excitotoxins do.
