Looks like this takes into consideration retail. If you think how many grocery stores, and things of that nature, are open 365, then those percentages make sense.

These aren't national holidays but Halloween and St. Patrick's Day would be near the top of my personal favorite holidays.

I think this poll was based on which holidays that companies actually observe.

Doesn't look right. Thanksgiving over Christmas. Easter? How do you count Easter when it's on a Sunday.

Right which is likely why the figure is so low. 51% of business that would normally be open on Sunday are closed on Easter Sunday.
