Typically what happens when they need to investigate the situation further.
You didn't strengthen anything.
I'm not saying that the cop did nothing wrong. I'm also usually very skeptical about their actions. But the video starts and all you hear are people yelling at janessa telling her to chill and to stop resisting. That right there tells me that there is a whole lot more to the situation than the 5 seconds of the video before the cop possibly went to far.
The cop slammed her down, she stopped resisting, and that was the end of it. He didn't go on with any sort of attack.
He might get a written reprimand and some additional training to end the situation different. But this wasn't some sort of vicious attack by a cop.
And quite honestly, there's not nearly enough in that video to make a judgement. At least, not the way you are intending to judge with this thread.

I do not think anyone is surprised. People are more than aware that cops will go overboard and abuse their power. At least some of the police.

So we get pissed when police shoot, OK. They get persecuted in the media and then get fired.
So the police use restraint, don't shoot, use physical force instead.
And we still get pissed, they get persecuted in the media, get fired.
Why in the blue frick anybody would want to be a cop in this day and age is beyond me.

The second police do nothing, as they did for a while in Baltimore, crime shoots up and guess what? People start yelling for the police to do something.
There are still plenty of perks to being a police officer, even in this political climate, but why you would want to REQUEST to be a School Resource Officer is beyond me. Dealing with special snowflakes all day is a special kind of hell. Someone is going to be pissed every single time the officer takes action.

I'm sure he was kicked a number of times. When she was flailing her legs when being picked up and in the process of being body slammed. Flailing is kind of a natural reaction. But yes, his implication that she just went up to him and began kicking him is very likely a lie.
Wasn't his implication, it was the students watching it unfold. Not sure how you read that part different than how it was written.

Nothing new this is how cops get their rocks off. Imagine what he does to his wife

Should body slam the parents too. My 12 year old would never get in a situation where that was a possibility

LMAO cops have to be treated like a 5 year old.
Constant reminders to use their words

Your bias is showing.

And these same people who are basically blaming the girl would gladly participate in threads and topics talking about the good old days when fought at school and handled their business.
The nanny overlords people like you vote for are responsible for for the excessive police state.
Not surprised this is another minority who cant behave properly. Id love to say the police officer should have just let the little mexicans fight it out but he would have been fired for that too.

She probably deserved it.. Just comply and you won't fly..

So, she was quietly walking down the hallway and he picked her up and body slammed her for no reason. Happens every day.
Posted on 4/7/16 at 8:34 am to LSUTANGERINE
She should have listened when the officer asked to talk to him, then come with him, then stop resisting. If you are getting arrested and resisting, you deserve to get body slammed like that, 12yo or not. She was a pretty big and feisty 12 year old.

Some people, body slam is the only language they understand.

What else was he supposed to do? His job was to control her and remove her from the situation. That is what he did, and he did so without any serious injury.
This asshat has NEVER posted a positive video about police. His life revolves around posting this shite. Give me a logical explanation about how he could have handled it differently?

Do you think that is all cops need to do their job? Words?
You think baws and bruhs will comply every time if they are just asked to?
