With a 12 year old girl, yes.

I've seen literally 1 video where I had no doubt the cop had fricked up. The one where he shot a guy trying to get his license out. Even that cop wasnt abusing power. He just made a terrible mistake by being too jumpy.

Here's two more if you like- look up the slager video in South Carolina of the cop shooting the driver in the back. LINK

Next, the Laquan McDonald case in Chicago. You might be curious to read the police report that claimed he charged with a knife at the officers. You'll notice the video doesn't show that. You'll also notice that there's no audio- the officers deleted it.

This asshat has NEVER posted a positive video about police. His life revolves around posting this shite. Give me a logical explanation about how he could have handled it differently?

Why would anyone here post a video of someone doing his or her job as they are supposed to? Are you one of those everyone gets trophies kind of people?

Why in the blue frick anybody would want to be a cop in this day and age is beyond me.

Actually reducing the number of police might be a good thing. We arrest and incarcerate way too many people to begin with.

Think of this as the free market making its way to LEO. Too much supply of LEO meets too little demand of crime.

So let's play his out.

12 year old girl threatens to assault another girl. Moves to do so. Officer asks girl to cease and desist. Girl tells officer to go frick himself.

Officer says "I've asked politely, I'm out of options"

Is that how this should have played out?

There was a time when this sort of thing would get settled either by school admins or the students themselves. Short of a student being a lethal danger to another student, I don't see the great reason for LEO getting involved here.

Just my two cents but I firmly believe both were at fault. The girl more so than the officer, but nonetheless, the officer should use better judgement in that case. No way I would ever pick a little girl up and slam her like that. If he couldn't detain her in some other way, then quite frankly he doesn't need to be in that position.

With that being said, that girl is not the innocent little angel she is trying to sound like. She should be punished accordingly once all the evidence comes out. Her mother trying to protect her from her actions is doing her a great injustice in the long run. Hold your frickin kid accountable, woman.

In the end, I bet neither of them ever do this shite again, and if approached with a similar situation, they will handle more sensibly next time. Hopefully a fair punishment will be handed to both parties.

Janissa says she had planned to meet another girl after school to talk after she heard rumors that the girl had talked about her behind her back.

Ah yes, I remember my high school days when large crowds would form around two people behind the school to watch them talk their differences out.

Youre right. There was a time when a 12 year old girl got confronted by an adult she would listen and modify her behavior so she would not get in trouble.

Still funny how no one will answer my question.

What else precisely was he supposed to do in order to take her down and arrest her?

The counts of the indictment are luxury, bad manners, contempt for authority, disrespect to elders, and a love for chatter in place of exercise. …

Children began to be the tyrants, not the slaves, of their households. They no longer rose from their seats when an elder entered the room; they contradicted their parents, chattered before company, gobbled up the dainties at table, and committed various offences against Hellenic tastes, such as crossing their legs. They tyrannised over the paidagogoi and schoolmasters.

Grab her by the arm and drag her out the school.

Or simply lock her out of her next class and call the parents to pick her up. It's not like there was a pressing reason to detain her. She can't drive and isn't a flight risk.

like most things, the story is somewhere in the middle. both were at fault. i just can't imagine slamming a 12 year-old like that.
