Plumbing issue: what can I expect

I have had issues 2 separate times with water backing up into my dish washer, sink and coming out by my washer. I've had it blown out by Roto router but the problem came back again. What could be causing this over and over again.

Any ideas or suggestions..last time we had Roto router out was in the middle of December. It's an older house built in 82.

No plumber, but:
Blowing it out may only be clearing some of it. The drain lean is to allow all of the crap(pun) to be cleared.
Most people I know of usually have a semi/full blockage between the home and the street clean out.

Ask root rooter if they have a camera they can run down the line. You may have a large blockage , a belly in the pipe, or a pipe rupture.

Don't know if you should or shouldn't. Parents had the same problem at a condo they own and it was something to do with the grease trap.

We had a similar problem. Tree root was partially blocking then one day a full on clog. Roto-rooter brought their special tip and cleared that hole completely. $160 for an hour I think is what it took

Lots of times people put stuff in the disposal that shouldn't be in there. Put less in there. Just because it fits in the hole and is food by products doesn't mean it should handle it. We bought a commercial grade disposal.

OP, would be good to include more details such as do you have a septic tank, slab foundation or conventional, city sewer, etc.
As said, roots are a common problem. Plumbers blowing compressed air into drain pipes is not a good idea. It sounds like you might have the problem isolated to one area. Isolating the problem is a crucial early step. Is it backing up into the washer but not any bathtubs?

How old is the home, older homes had cast iron drain lines that deteriorate and fill up with dirt overtime.

Slab foundation with sewer..it's on one end of the house. Where the kitchen and laundry room are. Backing up into the sink, dish washer, but not sure about the washing machine. I think the water is just coming up out of the pipe where the drain pipe from the washer sits in to drain..not going all the way to the washer but rather running down the wall on the sheet rock.
This is the second or third time this has happened..December was the last time it happened and Roto rooter came out and it's been fine since then.
