So how did all this get started? I’ve been MIA for over a week. My household went through Strep and then a stomach virus in less than 7 days.

I think we see more of the consequences of the despoilation of online culture here than general culture. Social media turns everyone into a propagandist and it makes people hate each other. It's not nearly so bad offline.

This. The poli board was totally changed in 2016. If you're not on the Trump train then you have TDS and are a low T soy cuck. According to the board.
This was made worse with that Q thread and admins participating in and protecting it with banning.
I'll say again the fault here lies in the admin team for letting it get like this more so than the users.

History will look back on the Q phenomenon as one of the most successful psyop campaigns in the world.

You know that thread wouldn't be political at all if the Russia supporters didn't make it so. It's mostly information about the war.
But the fact is a large segment of our population all of the sudden is worried about spending on a war. When most of them supported Iraq and Afghanistan.
If this war costs is a Trillion dollars and ends with a weak Russia its worth it. Our $800B a year military budget was built for taking down Russia. frick Russia. Why should we allow them to get stronger when we can choke them out with NATO once and for all and only have China to worry about from now on?
Money well spent on this way without tons of American casualties.
