My brother got them on spring break, came home with them, and my mom and i (12 years old at the time) got them from him. Mom was pissed, it took me like5 applications of that cream to get rid of them for good....nasty

Prayers sent. At one time any GP would recognize the seven-year itch and know how to treat it. Now even dermatologists can't seem to diagnose it correctly. You'll notice it especially in the genital area and in the webs between your fingers. More than likely you caught it from a sex partner.

Get the prescription treatment and apply it from head to toe. Launder and dry clean everything you've worn or slept in and hope that there aren't any outliers that you missed.

Permethrin Cream

Last year I kept breaking out daily. Was told by 2 doctors it was Scabies but the treatment did not work. I ended up finding out I was allergic to my laundry detergant and it was causing me to break out and looked a lot like scabies.

I didn't know this was the recommendation for people. I usually do not recommend extensive environmental clean up for dog owners b/c the mites die within a few days of being off the host. The number suggest about 20-30% of households with infested dogs will have humans and/or other dogs also develop it.

The treatment is incredibly easy dude.....just get the cream from your doctor....put it literally all over your body.

Clean house and wash everything.

Done.

shite sucks, when I was in my teens, they had an outbreak at the local hospital my mom was a nurse at.

The doctors thought the patient had some sort of skin allergy.

Needless to say, all of this happened around Christmas and for a Christmas gift the doctor gave all the nurses at the hospital a prescription of that scabies cream (just in case).

Well my whole family got it. it sucked and I'm glad Chalmette Medical Center is no longer open

Try elimite (permethrin 5% cream) first, and if that doesn't work there is an oral antiparisitic called ivermectin that is used if that is the correct diagnosis.

I assume you're talking about a prescription for this.

I thought I had that crap while I was in the military. Turned out I developed some allergies that made me itch insanely.

Wish it would have been scabies, allergies suck donkey balls.

Go to the doctor and get the cream and pills.

I got it and it cleared up overnight.

Back at the doc now. Nurse put gloves on and wouldn't touch me. Wouldn't even let me sit on the patient table lol. So here I am in some quarantined chair itching my nuts off.

Please god don't let it be scabies. I know it is. But lord please no.

Look closely at the pasty white areas of your skin. There are tiny brownish-grey spiders crawling all over you.

unfortunately I don't have any good news for you. scabies are actually a small insect that burrows into your skin. they particularly like to get in to the crevices in your skin (behind knees, elbows, crevice of your buttocks, etc...).

I was once infested by these when I was a kid. My little brother raised hogs for 4h shows and the hogs had scabies. then we all got them even though I never went anywhere near the filthy pigs.

It was the worst 2-3 weeks of my life.

F. M. L.

It's scabies. 2 Asian doctors asked to look at my pecker and immediately diagnosed it.

Why. WRYYYYY
