Sky Shark was quite an addiction of mine in the 80’s

Galaga, Tempest, Centipede, and Defender for me. Preferably at the Hobby Oasis, though Putt Putt had a decent arcade as well.

There's a local arcade where I live, a lot of my son's friend's/classmates have bday parties there. They have an old school galaga machine. I can't get through two rounds without getting arthritis/carpal tunnal/ wrist AIDS.

Would it let you save the last 2 on third screen fly around until they quit dropping bombs on you?

No wonder this planet is going to shite. Men, instead of doing manly things does kiddy things. Grow up dammit!

My high score was over 550k and the best I could do was 2nd. The guy that worked at the Arcade would flip the score. He would have to quit the game and go clock in lol.

I thought I was old school growing up on the Nintendo. It's pretty cool to see everyone reminiscing their arcade days.

Used to be a guy in Pensacola who advertised on CL and sold refurbed full size cabinet models. His would have several different controls and like 60 different games from that time frame. Weren’t super expensive as I recall. $12-1500? Should have bought one but no real good place to put it where I was living then.

Those retro all in one cabinets are pretty awesome. Will probably get one when we do our addition.
You can get something like these or make one and it plugs to your TV and sits on a bar or sofee table...

Galaga would wear your arse out! Some and my buddy decided one guy would shoot and the other moved the ship. The day we hit top score you would have thought we won the lottery!! We celebrated with large sno balls. Best of times.
