In my own kids, I’ve seen an aversion to some of the technology they’re exposed to. They seem especially skeptical of AI. Wouldn’t be entirely shocking if young people generally are starting to pull back from porn as well. Or at least recognizing it as an evil that should be resisted.

Even aside from that, there’s some tendency for Gen Z people to at least claim to be super prude. Some of them will claim to pollsters not to masturbate even if that’s not really true.
Also, Playboy itself has a motivation to make up poll numbers (or at least “adjust” poll numbers so much that the poll numbers might as well be fake) in order to regain some relevancy in 2026. I mean, before this poll, when was the last time you ever saw an article from playboy.com?

Today's Playboy magazine isn't anything like the Playboy we all know. It's run by a gay editor and has little, to any nudity. It's more akin to a women's fashion magazine than the Playboy you found under your dad's bed or in the fraternity house bathroom. Given that, I suspect the Gen Z men participating in a Playboy survey aren't exactly the most masculine bunch. Hell, probably a good bit aren't even turned on by nude women.

Being a teenager in the 80's was rough. You had to work with what you could find. JC Penny's catalog. Once found a porn tape in our dumpster, the tracking was terrible and could barely see what was going on. HBO when it aired First and Ten.
