I would guess most live in rentals and spend 80% of their income on an ugly truck.

Says the guy that had to settle for the XLT F150 because he didn't have the money for a Tundra.

Kicker at the bottom of the ad was 84 months. Only dumbass people finance a truck for 84 months

I've seen a lot around in poor parts of the country. Their trucks cost half as much as their houses.

Pay cash and get it over with

It seems like Yukon, Lexus, BMW, etc. drivers don't get the same kind of lectures about car depreciation as pickup drivers do, yet they are all subject to the same rules and poor financial decisions.

Ah, following me again.

I had the money, but didn't want to spend 5K more for the truck. I think I've said that many times in threads.

And of course, a 50-70K sticker truck can be had for $35-52K or so if it's a domestic. But then we already knew that as well.

Lexus, BMW, etc... are luxury vehicles. A truck was designed to do work. That's why they get grief and other dont

Trucks are designed for more than that now.

That's my point. Most financing deals make an 84-month note an appealing financial decision, but many on this board think paying cash is universally the best option.

Just checking in to say that the platinum trim level is for ethnics and people with no style.

I am not a fan of that much chrome. It looks like Jantrell's Chrysler 300 he outfitted with auto zone accessories.

Didn't pay cash for that one, but got the cash when I sold it and bought this new one. Note was only like $325 on it, but that turned out to be $324.99 too much

I have a 16 f150 really regretted getting it. If the new ram is legit like my friend who works for Chrysler claims I'm dumping this truck.
