i have a platinum, which is nice. there are things about the truck that i would never want to go without in any vehicle, so i like the features.

however i will never pay this much money for a truck again without other improvements for luxury.

wish i would have gotten the 5.0 as well. the ecoboost is fine, but i just prefer the way an 8 cylinder responds and sounds.

also, F150 owners? your truck ever sound like a jet engine? but like all the time? the fan is fricking loud on them.

No, it was 5K, always been 5K. Now quit stalking me. Just because people can negotiate good deals, don't hate on them.

I'm not trying to gain anything.

I love my Rover and short of it falling apart in the driveway I might never get another vehicle.

I can't see myself buying one no matter how much money I make. Too many stories

I have a 2017 Ford Expedition Pkatinum Edition so because it's not a truck I'm okay in this thread.

You really just need to drive one.

I've got an SC. So take the ability to drive over the mountains and through the rivers and add speed that an SUV shouldn't be able to move at. It's fun.

I have drievn one just not balls out as it wasnt mine. I had a 6.2L raptor that had 19k off-road miles when I sold it and it never ever broke. I been up triple digits in death Arizona. And rode the snoball 500 in Michigan. But I wasn't going fast in that snowstorm

I've never had anything that would move off road like this thing and still be tame enough to drive the wheels off on pavement.

i didn't buy it to be a racecar on the road. it floated down the road but had incredible body roll.

That's why I'll never own another 4Runner.

The non SC Rovers roll more too, but nothing I've ever driven rolls like a 4Runner.

I have a 16 f150 really regretted getting it. If the new ram is legit like my friend who works for Chrysler claims I'm dumping this truck.

...said no one ever (well, not seriously anyway).

I don't have any issues with the fan being loud. I do enjoy the 5.0 more than the 3.5 I had last year though. That 3.5 has major body roll with the leveling kit and tires on it, especially when you got into the gas to pass.

I love mine. 0 for 72 on A plan made it worth it for me personally.

Yep.

I'm on my second F150. My first was a 99, and I finally got rid of it last year, so it was kind of a no brainer to replace it with something that had been so dependable for me in the past.

I have one as well but I have not heard the jet engine sound that you are referring to. Are you hearing this inside the vehicle or when you are standing outside of it while it's running?

Have you driven the 5.0 to see if there is a noticeable difference? I have the Ecoboost as well but I have never driven the 8 cylinder version of this truck for comparison.

Lincoln is currently trying to peddles a fleet of Ford Fusions, Tauruses, and Escapes as a "luxury car brand".
