Plane Crashes in Clinton, LA - Debris “not found”. UFO coverup suspected

So I know someone who lives right where this “plane” went down.
Her story: She was in bed around 9pm. She hears a massive ZOOM/BOOM above her apartment - the entire building shakes and all the lights in the area go out until 11pm.
She was confused and eventually fell asleep.
She woke up the next day and discovered dozens of her neighbors witnessed a crash in the woods right next to her. Dozens of 911 calls came in ushering the police to the scene.
Nothing was found and it was deemed a hoax.
The problem is everyone there is shaking there heads asking what happened to the buildings/lights and what exactly they saw?

Military aircraft and they cleaned it up while instructing the local police on their statement. Wouldn't be the first time. Won't be the last.

So the military massed a response team, got there, cleaned everything up (all in the dark) and were gone in few hours and no one saw them? As someone who has been involved recovering military crashes, it's a complicated and weeks long process.

My grandfather was a test pilot. Whether it's a military secret or just some company's proprietary technology, they can get in and out pretty quickly.
