And she was texting her boyfriend so she wasn’t flying guys.
Glad you finally realized that after you made such an arse out of yourself last night cause you JUST KNEW it was her fault.

Ok. I'd bet money your wife has NO IDEA how dismissive you are of females and how often you are this way.
Probably you overcompensate cause she runs stuff in the home.
It's ok, we won't tell her

I find this absurd. Who would allow a 20yr old to pilot any plane for them? Wild.
can you imagine how many obsessed followers she had on her tik tok. She probably was a wannabe influencer.

No, they've pivoted now. It's still her fault, only now it's not because she was flying but they're sure she wasn't watching the radar hard enough. They know this.

y wife received word that it was one of her HS classmates on the plane. She went to HS in central Houston (not going to name the HS yet)
She went to Episcopal, I posted it several pages back. Her name has been released, I don’t know why we need to be hush hush about her Alma mater.

Theres gotta be a safer path for kids who want to just film themselves doing the thing, rather than actually do the thing.

Now that the pilot's name is out there has the OTSB determined his social media to see if he is qualified?

Read about her. She got her pilots license when she was 17. She wanted to be different. She wasn't yet old enough to apply at American Airlines, which is what her dream was. Her father/step-father introduced her to flying at a young age. She doesn't appear to just be posing.

I wonder who they blamed in that helicopter crash in DC a few months ago: the female pilot of the chopper or the male copilot who was navigating

You can be qualified as all get out but still go Lt. Dan into a storm.

I'm on board with OTSB now. Sorry I was slow earlier. Good stuff.

Honestly, are you just trying to be annoying at this point?
Serious question.

Possible smell test issue. I don’t see where the 1300 hours he is referring to came from though

Something like 80% of private plane crashes involve pilot error. I would wager it’s probably higher when one of the pilots is 20 years old. So statistically, she likely played a role.
Kind of odd that so many of you are dismissive of that.

You know you on point with your analysis when you get a certain amount of blowback.

So he was worth about 50m. Saw one of his youtube interviews. Never heard of the companies he founded, but seemed like a cool dude. RIP.

Like another poster said, it's hard to imagine having your entire family on the plane going through those final moments knowing you put them there and hearing the agony knowing it wasn't going to work out. RIP and prayers sent

You have to start somewhere. Commercial pilots are forced retired at 65 and it takes years to build up the resume to get a job as a pilot at American or Delta.

I don't think everyone essentially calling you a dumbass is an indication that you're, "on point", but if you need to believe that, then I guess go right ahead.
