Places to go play pick up bball?

Are there any places to go play pick up basketball in BR? just moved here and that's basically my only way of getting cardio in lol (hate running without playing something)

I used to play a BREC Park on Jeff Hwy in between Essen and Corp. sometimes people are there, sometimes just shooting hoops by yourself

There used to be men’s leagues at the YMCA. That was prob 25 years ago tho now that I think about it.

Not sure about Baton Rouge...but West Philadelphia has some good pick up ball.... on that playground os where they spend most of their days.

I remember back in the day when Coach Ray would knock your arse out if you tried playing at Bright and were from outside of the area. Otherwise, we had some great pick-up games late at night there.

Your best bet is paying to go to LSU rec or the YMCA. i think LSU is $10 for a visitor day pass and YMCA is like $5.
