Pedigo's. It's a shame because the food was good, but Don Pedigo would always walk around worrying everyone.

This, especially the one on Nicholson. My dad used to take me there when he was bringing me back to my mother's house after their divorce.

Great public schools and great live music scene which Baton Rouge had at one time.

The Bayou
The Caterie
Tiger Lair Lounge
T G & Y Stores
Steinberg's (the one on St. Philip was the bomb)
Ben Peabody's Esso (best place to buy waders/hip boots.)
Dove hunting on GSRI Road
Squirrel hunting in Ford's Pasture
Gravel roads
The statue of the Confederate soldier downtown by the Old State Capitol
The Piedmont Club
The Ol' Beachcomber, Bob Scearce.
The sense of Baton Rouge being the "largest small town in America."
Leisure Landing Record Store

Uncle Earls, Rascals, Plum Crazy, 2001 in back of Bon Marche,

Seeing The Jeff Pollard Band at The Kingfish, next door to Uncle Earls before they changed their name to Louisiana's Leroux.

The Tiger Lair and Chucks Bar in Tigerland.

1. Fricken Chicken

Hands down best fried chicken I've ever tasted. Only downside is your bunghole regretting it the next day if you chose spicy.

2. Mr. Gatti's on West Chimes.

I easily signed up for a dozen credit cards under various pseudonyms to get the free buffet.

3. Carlotta Street Party

Prior to it becoming commercialized circa 2007 it was a great time.

4. The Caterie

Meh...

Each and all of the above.

Throw in Goony Golf and New Generation.
