Was there a hardware store in Drusilla shopping center?

Ground Patty was awesome. The pewter cups seemed to hold the cold.
I also ate a lot of burgers at Around The Corner.
Everyone should be subjected to Pancho's at least once in their life.
The stand alone bank in the Broadmoor shopping center was a Fidelity. When they got their first ATM, the cards were named ABBY in their ad slogans. (Anytime Banking Best Yet.)

I think I remember a little lunch spot in Beauregard town that served home cooking style meals and maybe the owner of Mansurs owned it and sold it. 1990-ish

Yes. It was in the spot where Drusilla Seafood is (was?). I think Drusilla Seafood was a smaller place that later expanded into the hardware store site.

The Italian named place that only sold tamales off Government, wrapped them in newspaper and man they were good.
Mike Anderson's when it was in an old house right off campus.

No, that was a TG&Y.
I remember a Dairy Queen being where that antique/knick-knack place is behind Cane's in Drusilla. That's what it was built for. After Dairy Queen it later became the great Fast Track...

It was also a daiquiri place before it became the import knick-knack place. They have a fun karaoke night.

I don't remember where exactly it was, but there was a Shakey's pizza somewhere on Airline I think. My sister worked there, and honestly I don't know if the pizza was that good, but I remember vaguely.
My mom owned a business frequented by the democrats (insert race joke here) on the corner of Airline near Plank. I spent years in the Howard Brothers in the shopping center across from Metro Bowl.

Pancho's. Used to go there on late Sunday mornings and pay like $5 for All You Can Eat. Then go back to the apartment and sleep. remember it well and fit right into a poor kid's college budget. Tigerland Market when it used to actually be a small grocery store. I used to work there.

My Mom worked there while she was at LSU... used to get all our tailgating kegs from there back in the day too.
