Who remembers the bar on Highland Rd. downtown right by the bridge called Cypress Hollow? It's changed names many times since then, but I've been away from BR for years and I don't know what it's called now.

Spanish Moon. Cypress Hollow was the second place I had a beer as an underager.

Was the Art Bar after Cypress Hollow. I saw Dread Zeppelin there (and they were awesome).

Wasn't it Sports Unlimited? That's the first thing that I remember it being.

That's one of the oldest buildings in BR if I remember correctly.

Took the gf to Gino's last night. I was on website beforehand and I was wondering. Where were they located on Perkins road before moving to Bennington?
Was before my time (1975) but curious as hell.

Vince's Restaurant
I lived about half a mile away from Laurel Lea

Went into Vince's minimart a lot, but never went into the restaurant -- we were too poor

What about ones you absolutely remember?

Because I'd like to give a shoutout (and an RIP) to one of the best restaurants ever: Rax.

Used to hit the one on Florida with my mom all the time as a kid, and I fricking LOVED it.

well we finally agree on something (I'll try not to let it happen again)

Much better than Arby's, and cheap -- they were always putting great coupon ads in the Fun section. I think I may still have some coupons packed away somewhere...

Yes that was it.

I was living in BR when Jumbo Sports closed in the late 90s.

Went looking for some deals, and found a case of Federal .22 Lightnings for $70. I thought I'd hit the jackpot. If I had known what .22 ammo was going to do starting in 2012, I'd have bought 20 cases.
