These live videos are insane. Hope anyone over there is staying safe. Probably a terrible time to be a roundeye in Hong Kong

Are the foreigners behind the protests?

Many are blaming me, and the United States, for the problems going on in Hong Kong. I can’t imagine why?
President Trump tweets about Hong Kong!

Is this China's first real attempt to restricting the freedom of those in HK and suppress their voices through legislation?
And now you know why the left demands everyone speak, act, behave, and the same. Oppression requires a herd mentality.

No. It wouldnt be hard to get caught in the crossfire if the PLA decides to start using live rounds, though. Especially with the placement of the protests

Well said. If only the Deranged Left could see this (and the path they are on) for what it really leads to.
"Democratic" Socialism is a myth.

Our young people here, and a few old ones, eat up the pablum served by the left as fast as they can.
They have no idea that all that " free stuff" comes with the highest price of all- their freedom.
These HK young people know what's up and they're willing to die for it.

Could this be Tiananmen Square 2.0?
Yes. And the rest of the world will do nothing. Just like before.
The HKs are fricked. They’ll wish they’d never left the empire.

Cause suicide still means something to asians and can be celebrated.
To americans, it's celebration is mostly reserved for musicians and other artists.

They didn’t want to before but they were dumb enough to believe China’s promises about how they would be treated.
Still, a half million people said “frick that” and left HK in the five years leading up to the changeover to the point where they had a massive housing surplus.

With what a lot of our priorities are, that's scary.
