Not the actual numbers. That is the doctors that report any death as Covid that they ASSUME is related. It is the media that will twist those numbers to fit their agenda.
If you trust the MSM they're is no use in telling you anything.

Is that what you call these weak arse gotcha attempts?

How you can watch these press conferences and call him unprofessional is beyond me
Blatant dishonesty, touting an unproven drug that hasn't been thoroughly tested, whining about questions from the press.
Yeah, not sure what is unprofessional about that.

I like that Trump defers to others on the stage when a question is asked that someone else would have more knowledge on.
I guess you didn't watch yesterday when he wouldn't let Fauci answer a question about chloroquine because he knew his answer would be in conflict with his own answer.

It only took one reply to turn it into media bashing time.
“The media” is doing things like putting out articles claiming the number of African American deaths in LA are due to inherent racism.
Bashing seems appropriate.

They need to make sure they have a trended graph using TESTED DATE and not RESULTS RETURNED DATE.
There has been a huge lag in testing results in some areas and it fricks everything up in these charts/models.

I feel like this really shouldn't be that hard to have, and should be common sense to be using.

I've watched the conferences. That's not what happens. Yeah, there are always a few questions that he doesn't like and he goes off on a tangent, but an outlet deciding not to carry these press conferences when it's the biggest national crisis in our lifetime is way more immature from a public information perspective than any of Trump's immature rants.

Stop looking at things on a day by day standard
4 day clumps is more accurate

No, they don't control absolute results.
They most certainly control what gets reported and how it's reported.
If you don't realize that, I'm sorry.

Boo! I was told to expect catastrophic numbers...

Agreed. I'd like to see this. I talked recently to someone that runs a small private lab and it seems like the LDH numbers are always behind at least several days. Add that to the time to process the test and it seems like the numbers we see are 1-2 weeks old. Another anecdotal story, a friend of mine started showing symptoms 9 days ago. They took the test 6 days ago and still haven't gotten results.

Yep, also there has been a trend for deaths to spike on Tuesday and not just in the US. For example, Belgium and Netherlands (early day reporters) reported 286 deaths yesterday and just reported 637.

People are looking at it this way internally, but when you have a public facing chart and retroactively add numbers to past dates, people freak the frick out.
At first they weren't doing this, even in places like Italy and NYC. Now I think they are, but I'm not positive.

Oh... you’re one of ‘those’.
For what it’s worth, the Director of Pharmacy in our hospital is recommending to our Medical Staff early intervention with a Chlorquinine/Z-pack regimen.
I think all of our known positives are on it.

Are you talking about the reporters that say the President killed people and that he has blood on his hands from this? Those reporters?

LA should come out of this sooner than other places, because we started it sooner.
I wouldn't place too much attention on any one day, including today. But if we can string together 4-5 days of stats, that would be huge.

Look, I think he's been all over the place with this drug and isn't an MD so he shouldn't be endorsing stuff like that.
But, there are entire countries prescribing it as a prophylactic. Italy and India have seen promising results when used in that manner.
And to say it isn't tested is disingenuous. It has been tested in humans for years for other treatments and has proven to have low toxicity and limited, if any, lasting impacts.
The efficacy obviously depends on when in the patient's timeline of illness they start the treatment, but to say it isn't tested is just crap.
