Some folks have a problem with authority and it always manifests itself in threads like this.

A vehicle matching the description, right? Thats a far cry from making a shooting justifiable by claiming he was trying to protect this kids future victims

If that suspect was allowed to flee, carjacked your wife and killed her, you’re saying,”well done, Officer”?

Most people that react to this stuff have no idea what it's like to make a split second decision to pull a trigger on a perceived threat. I have been deployed twice to Iraq in the Cav and its all instinct. There was never malice or any emotion involved at all. When these blowhards talk about "murder" in situations like this I just fricking laugh at them.

They...have...no...clue.

Absolutely not.

But it puts you in the position to be shot or killed.

Exactly. The number one common denominator in all of these cases is the suspect ignoring the LEO’s initial command.

We can not give a definitive answer with a 38 second clip of video.

I'm not saying there are not bad shoots. There are but usually the local DA and authorities deal with it and it goes unnoticed.

Its situations like Mike Brown etc where the shoot was justified that draw the most angst.

I feel bad for that officer in the Mike Brown shooting. Had to relocate and go into hiding for putting down a threat to his own life and his own community.

Glad police around the country are wearing body cameras. It has already exposed some of the bullshite from some of this stuff. It's completely backfiring on the anti police narrative.

Those that choose to wear a uniform to protect us are confronted with situations on a dailly basis that the average person could never understand.

Read your bullet points again. I also love the use of "murder" before you have one clue about the underlying details.

You're a hyperbolic mental midget.

the underlying details are that a kid got shot while running away from a LEO who was in no danger from the person he murdered

Meanwhile in Nola, black and white cops get surrounded by trash, get pushed, pulled and had another dude pacing with a gun.

No fricking way I'd ever be a cop. Your in a lose lose situation in today's climate.

Some folks seem to back up authority no matter what as well. Good thing the people that founded this country weren't those kind of people.
