They may go squish, but we found a problem.
We are out in the country, and unwanted pets often are dumped. A pit bull (no collar and looked starving) was in our back yard looking at our pets.
Not a keeper, by any means.
Someone found that a 22 will bounce off the skull of a full grown pit and someone else in the area found that bigger rounds work better.

If some assholes pitbull came on my property I would shoot it and that is that

I'm in and out of people's homes all day everyday doing inspections and have never had an issue with a pit bull. Not saying there aren't some bad owners out there, but I have on multiple occasions been attacked by German Shepards. Those dogs scare the shite out of me.

Some trashy tattooed fricks with motorcycles and pit bulls recently moved in up the street. Insult to injury the wife is fat and unattractive to boot.

I was walking my dogs the other day and this dog busts through the fence. It was clearly half pit. Fortunately nothing happened. The owner thought was one giant douche. No sorry or anything. Pure trash.

It comes down to the owner, the foundation, and the restrictions/limitations they have or have not put in place.
Some people should never be pet owners. While some should. Certainly, a bully breed has the potential to do incredible amounts of damage, but in my experience, I have found that many bully breeds, including my own two, have a very good temperament, probably because I work with them daily and give them structure and correction.
Here are pictures of my "killers." I know ... I know ... it's only a matter of time before she turns on me or my kids. Or your kids.
My Pit is a "rescue" dog. I rescued her from behind my workplace. She's chipped, but the POS owners disconnected their telephone number and deleted their e-mail address which is connected to her chip. I initially tried to find her a good home, but I had no takers. So, I kept her. And invested time with her. It's been a good reward for me so far, and my kids. There is a trust there, because she knows I am the dominant one in "her" family, and that is important.
And this is my Dobie. She's 7.5 years old. Had her since she was a puppy. She's been the best dog I have ever had.

Not true I live in an area with million dollar homes yet a luxury apartment is near with high rental rates. Yet I see these idiot leasing agents allow pit bulls as a "service dog" so they walk the streets nearby with these killers
