Part of me says no fricking way I ever get on one of those things.

Other part says it will be the most heavily scrutinized plane in history and thus the safest.

What say you?

Just fly Delta and you don’t have to worry about the MAX.

Do you know how bad it has to be to make a Fixed Wing craft difficult to fly? yeeeesh. THAT is an accomplishmnet (dubious as it may be)

This is when living in DFW will suck. Southwest and American have several in their fleets or on order.

I will give it some time to see how the software reacts in actual flights.

I fly southwest exclusively due to convenience. I'm sure I'll die in a fiery crash due to some "software glitch".

I think it’ll be fine but I’d give it a month to let it settle first.

Because the Delta crew beats you up and drags you off the plane before take off?

Nothing better than a month or two in the air to sort out any new problems. I think if none go down in two months, it will be fine.

I won't think twice about it. If I die in a commercial airline, it was my time to go.

Well, you're a pussy, because the jet is fine. The shakedown cycle for the max is 10 times more intrusive than normal aircraft now.

I told y'all three weeks ago. The max is good to go. It's fine. It's an FAA/Boeing pissing match now with the FAA losing due to the airlines losing money on the max being grounded.

Once the glitch is fixed and the plane has been recertified and flying for a couple of years, the orders will be getting back on track

It could be the safest plane in the world, but how on earth do you sell that to the public?

It’s like asking people to get on board something called the Hindenburg.
